MAL PAIS= AMAZING!
We are here on the southern point of the pacific side of Costa Rica in Mal Pais. It means ¨bad country´ but it is soooooooo far from being anything bad. First off the hostel is absolutely wonderful. Set behind a bunch of trees, right across from the beach and two stories filled with hammocks, huge kitchen, pool table and about 50 other travelers and backpackers!! We met so many people already and had a awesome time dancing away at reggae night at a cute bar right on the beach. The people are mellow, relaxed, and extremely nice. Everyone picks each others brains on where to go next, what to see in costa rica and what to skip...its a warming vibe with positive attitudes filling the hostel and amoungst the streets. Now I can see how people never want to leave this place! We will probably be here for a couple more days than who knows!!! It gets better each day! Miss you all!!! And LITTLE J, THANK YOU for all your comments with all your advice and wisdom of this great place. Its comforting to read your words and always great to hgear from you!! Now get your ass back down here =) Love you!

    Are you ever going to call your Mommy? I enjoy the blog entries (except for the hitchhiking and robbery stories)but I love hearing your voice and miss it. So call your Mommy!!!

    To Julia & Angie: I sure miss you guys and LOVE reading your comments to Lucy...I miss you guys so much...come see us...we have free accommodations anytime!!!

    Right on, Lisa! But the girl hasn't taken your advise yet and called me...seems like she can access her blog to write in it, but can she call her Mommy???? Nooooo! Can she respond to her Mommy's email from TUESDAY???? Nooooo! So I guess all I can say is if "traveling Lucy" can't travel to a pay phone, then perhaps "stay-at-home Mom" will just have to change her name to "hell-bent traveling Mom" and go down there to knock some sense into her!!! Call me, Lucy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
