| PANAMA CITY! |
After a 8 hour bus ride through the night we finally reached Panama City. We arrived here at 530 this morning, slept in the theater room of our hostel until reception opened up at 8. We are staying in a historical district known as Casco Viejo. It has small brick roads surrounded by old buildings, with parks sprawled out throughout the town. Our hostel has a beautiful view of downtown Panama City, which is right on the water.
After much contemplating, research and conversations/emails with my family we have decided to to the 5 day boat trip to Cartagena, Colombia. Jamie, Carlos and I met up with a friend from Mal Pais, Nina...who met us in Bocas to do this amazing part of our trip all together. We also developed a great friendship with Nick, our roommate in Bocas who is from London. All 5 of us are very excited and extremely eager to do this trip. The travel books have described it as the most amazing and desirable journey and I cannot wait to experience first hand.
We leave on Monday morning, 5 day trip that stops off to all the beautiful islands and then our trip concludes in Cartagena, Colombia.

I'm 25 and from San Clemente California. I consider myself a free spirit that loves taking risks, whether the outcome is positive or ends up a disaster, the risk is always worth it. I just recently made the decision to travel to Costa Rica for a few months and overwhelm my mind with its beautiful culture and language.
